Trump Threatens Countries Failing to Show Him 'Respect' in Deranged Late-Night Meltdown

Source: msn

Story by Ewan Palmer • 2h •

................

In a typical deranged late-night post on Truth Social, the MAGA president warned he would impose “substantial” new tariffs and block U.S. chip exports to countries that enforce digital taxes.

Trump argued that digital service taxes are designed to “harm, or discriminate” against American technology, and issued a sinister warning for if they are not dropped.

“They also, outrageously, give a complete pass to China’s largest Tech Companies. This must end, and end NOW,” Trump wrote.

“With this TRUTH, I put all Countries with Digital Taxes, Legislation, Rules, or Regulations, on notice that unless these discriminatory actions are removed,” he added. “America, and American Technology Companies, are neither the ‘piggy bank’ nor the ‘doormat’ of the World any longer. Show respect to America and our amazing Tech Companies or, consider the consequences! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”..............

Trump not only makes himself look ugly but also makes us all look ugly with these kinds of threats.
IMHO.

there would some kind of unwritten protocol on how to stop them or get them out of power.

But I guess not?

over their own interests. The Founding Fathers never dreamed that a majority of Congress and the Supreme Court would support and enable a treasonous madman.

the devil keeps you alive to piss off the not-so-evil people in the world,; but gives you progressively uglier and debilitating pain to remind you who's the real boss.

Also it makes the devil smile to see his customer suffer. It makes me smile. And sometimes laugh. And then I realize that even were Trump finally to be taken home, so to speak, by Satan, his immediate staff (like Stevie Miller) would just insist he was still alive and just too busy concentrating on his plan to save all humanity to make public appearances. (And, of course, thanks to AI, they'd create videos of him saving children from fires and adults from street muggings and rape.

(OMG, and so they would! Videos of AI Trump walking the streets of D.C. beating up on large brown and black men who were about to attack-- or in the midst of attacking -- old white men and or women, dragging corrupt and somewhat semitic looking mortgae bankers out on the street and threatening them with his personal heater if they don't reduce mortgage interest and also forgive loans that Trump says were fraudulently made, etc. etc. )

(And the bright people, people with the background and expertise for their opinions to carry a lot of weight, who attempted to expose the fraud would simply disappear--- or make a tearful, swollen faced "confession" and then disappear.)

it'd be comical if it weren't so dangerous and deadly. Lately, I've noticed myself rooting for someone to hit or take out the bully in whatever movie or tv show I'm watching. I think this is just transference of what I'd like to see someone do to trump. Take out the bully... give him a dose of his own medicine.

Trump is using that stuff to steer the news. Maybe if countries would pitch in, we would take over the commentary and we'd get rid of him sooner than later.

Social media, and streaming services, set up their international finances so that profit appears in whichever jurisdiction has the lowest tax rate (could be the US, could be a particular EU member, to handle all their revenue in all EU states, and so on), rather than where the revenue (subscriptions, views of advertising) actually happens.

It was only about 3 percent. Giants like Meta and Google would precis news stories and feed them out or give them as search results. That way they got the benefit of the work of Canadian journalists, sucked the air out of their web sites and paid nothing.

trump has had some sort of worsening mental break. Like he crossed some sort of internal line... or something broke completely in his brain. Like going from a "Stage 2" crisis into a "Stage 3" crisis. The headlines are just impossible. It's not just chaos writ large; something broke.
