Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal just slapped Donald Trump with a stark warning of a looming “political problem” over who will wind up paying his tariffs.

In an editorial published Thursday, the paper’s editorial board said fresh inflation data showed costs climbing for U.S.

Consumers operating in an environment of fear and for most, panic.

Trump is shrinking GDP while raising prices and shrinking the workforce while raising the deficit. FORMULA STAGFLATION.

No way out of it without reversing course. Trump never reverses course because he thinks he's always right.

Short memory span. One lie from the big orange buffoon and they all forget the myriad of his criminal behaviors and crooked businesses.

The same ones who knew who would pay them, when they we invoked. The people of Amrica.

7. Seems all that Murdoch is worried about is the "political cost".

Never mind the cost to all us plebes out here. Murdoch is the major cause of our problems because of his media ownership. Fox "News" is his baby and they've been spreading misinformation and lies for years.

went all out to create this FRANKENSTEIN's MONSTER, and now they can't control him........

Now that Trump and his CABAL are starting to screw all of the CORPORATIONS that "installed" him, listen to them scream bloody murder.

They ALL must have never heard of the term: UN-INTENDED CONSEQUENCES, as well as thinking past the end of their noses and egos......

OR the basic scientific principle: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction...........

The CPI that came out yesterday is what people are on about. It's at a slightly higher rate than inflation if you pull out food and energy at 3.1%. Overall at about 2.7%, or at the rate it's always been at for a while now, same as July. Some things up, others down. Beef costs more, chicken costs less. So why are op eds in the WSJ upset.

I'll tell you what, the WSJ isn't worried about people's grocery bills, nor what workers pay for anything, they are the newspaper of corporate America, especially the notorious opinion section. What they and wealthy media are concerned with are corporate profits. When costs go up, they can charge more and people won't buy their stuff, or they can make less profit. In both instances quarterly profits go down. If profits are down that can translate into hundreds of millions of dollars. Frankly I could care less. We grow our own tomatoes.

13. The effects of tariffs on the economy were predicted long ago, so no surprise there.

Of course Trump will trumpet the idea foreign countries are paying the tariffs, which they are (but passing them on to US consumers) and the streets will soon be paved with gold (which they won't), wait and see.

Stagflation involves a drop in employment, reduced business activities, and rising prices.
It's coming, curtesy of SWH (Someone Who wants to do you Harm), Americans!

Hard hole to climb out of too, stagflation. They tend to be sticky.
