Pam Bondi accused of possible witness tampering with Ghislaine Maxwell's prison transfer

Source: Raw Story

Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee, including ranking member Jamie Raskin (D-MD), demanded answers from Attorney General Pam Bondi after Jeffrey Epstein's accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, was transferred to a "relatively luxurious minimum-security prison camp in Texas."

In a letter to Bondi on Wednesday, Democrats noted that the Department of Justice had "inexplicably transferred" Maxwell after she met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche for two days.

"The transfer follows Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche's private interviews of Ms. Maxwell arranged after a firestorm of media attention about the Department of Justice's (DOJ) refusal to release the full Epstein files as originally demanded by President Donald Trump," the Democrats said. "These actions raise substantial concerns that the Administration may now be attempting to tamper with a crucial witness, conceal President Trump's relationship with convicted sex offenders, and coax Ms. Maxwell into providing false or misleading testimony in order to protect the President."

The DOJ and Bureau of Prisons may have also violated internal policies with the transfer, according to the lawmakers.

All criminals in this gangster regime who violated the rights and laws of the American people must suffer prosecution and real punishment. No more mercy for traitors and seditious lawbreakers.

Did Mr Blanche represent Maxwell? If not, was their conversation recorded?

Can't find anything on the internet about it.

But nothing would surprise me.

The Trump crime syndicate is a tightly knit group.

10. Maxwell was convicted and jailed for her *own* crimes

But remember that she was subpoenaed to testify to a House Committee - meaning she was a "witness".

And then suddenly after this happened, she was moved from one prison to a less restrictive one and is now supposed to be out on "work release".

From the letter that was sent by DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS MEMBERS (who are also LAWYERS) -

(snip)

Ms. Maxwell’s credibility as a witness was already severely compromised before she was
interviewed behind closed doors by the Deputy Attorney General. During President Trump’s first
administration, federal prosecutors charged Ms. Maxwell with perjury, stating her “willingness
to brazenly lie under oath about her conduct … strongly suggests her true motive has been and
remains to avoid being held accountable for her crimes.”5 However, Mr. Blanche destroyed any
shreds of credibility Ms. Maxwell may have had left when he decided to attend multiple private
meetings with her after she was subpoenaed by a congressional committee to offer public
testimony. His actions raise staggering concerns about political conflicts of interest, witness
tampering
, and suborning of false testimony
