You can be sure, this is exactly what type of prison Trump would love to build here, a horrific Gulag, but would rather pay the Dictator down in El Salvador where it is out of sight to the American People………The meeting between the U.S. House Member and the innocent prisoner that went down there was obviously staged to the max…………It is extremely unusual for that to take place, as the rule is, absolutely no contract, by any means, with the outside world. Period.

If you don’t get killed by the guards, or other prisoners, you will die there, with no exceptions……..The other tens of thousands of prisoners are the worst gang members in El Salvador……….

I know back in the day, the "horror prisons" were always those in Turkey but apparently this has now surpassed those given how large (and new) it is.

I had read some articles about Bukele who I consider sort of a "nepo baby" with his upbringing. He was the one who slowly dissolved away any type of democracy there.

People like him get in due to some "crisis" - similar to how Duterte got in with his massive "war on drugs", using that as justification for the violation of all kinds of rights. Similarly way way before, China had their Opium Wars, and as the PRC in the late '40s/early-'50s, eventually got rid of most of their "opium dens" through executions and imprisonments.

I think during the first term, 45 was sucking up to Duterte, whose term overlapped his, but now, he's got someone who is the age of his kids to suck up to.

a few weeks ago, I once again watched the Midnight Express, and saw this info on this prison, and thought the Turkey one was wonderful compared to the one in El Salvador.............

Evidently? Matt Gatz? was down there, only doing who knows what, (but it most likely had something to do with children) and he saw that prison, he came running back and tipped off that Trump guy adviser that hides in the shadows, can't remember his name, and the guy pitched it to Trump which he went for immediately, being the psychotic sadist he is..............

They would rather pay some dictator in a foreign land, than run the risk of people being able to see what is going on here.

And I'm an early bird in the mornings "reading" and "listening" to the news so just go on and post it. During normal times, there really isn't that much but these past 3 months have featured huge huge news dumps. Am hoping it quiets down some.

In the house and senate, on both sides of the isle, that a dictator has no need for a house and senate or judges, and that while they are screwing us over, they are screwing themselves much worse? When it comes down to it, trump will target them, and make it worse for them, than us? They got money! For now, but trump will take theirs too. Most of us don’t have any money, but we’ve learned to cope with that. They won’t have a clue.

they're town halls that are being held for ALL of the constituents of the district (representatives) or state (senators) where they are being held.

These assholes are supposed to represent ALL of their constituents, not just those of whatever political party currently holds office, or only those that agree 100% with whatever they are spewing. Those that are attending are exercising their rights under the First Amendment of the Constitution that tRump has been wiping his massive ass with.

Don't like what your constituents are saying and demanding? Let someone else that will abide by the will of their constituents take the office.
