Fairbanks elections: Audra Hull and Sam Spencer run for school board seat C

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTUU/KTVF) - In the 2025 municipal election for Interior Alaska, Audra Hull and Sam Spencer are both running for seat C on the Fairbanks North Star Borough School Board, a seat currently held by Brandy Harty, who is not running for reelection.

Hull said she is running because she cares deeply about the community’s students.

“I believe that every student should be given the opportunity to thrive, and that starts with strong public schools,” Hull said.

Hull said she has seen the impacts of enrollment declines and staffing shortages in the district, as well as academic gaps. She said the community needs a leader that will listen and act with integrity.
