Oct 18th NO KINGS to be larger than the June 14th protest...

BREAKING: Oct. 18 No Kings Rallies Surpass June Day of Action Numbers as Trump Admin Escalates Attacks - Insider NJ https://share.google/scWtR19X9UTVHZoKu

"As President Trump continues to escalate his violent authoritarian attacks on our freedoms – including increasing militarization of our nation’s cities and the threat of a federal government shutdown – the No Kings October 18th day of action has just surpassed 2,110 local protests and rallies that are being planned across all 50 states. That makes the events on October 18 on track to surpass the June 14 No Kings day of action over the summer, which saw more than five million people protesting across all 50 states.

The October 18 day of action is the next step in this growing movement, channeling that energy into another coordinated, peaceful mobilization."

“Sustained, broad-based, peaceful, pro-democracy grassroots movements win. Trump wanted a coronation on his birthday, and what he got instead was millions of people standing up to say NO KINGS. No Kings Day on June 14 was an historic demonstration of people power, and it’s grown into a broad, diverse movement. While Trump escalates his attack with occupations of American cities and secret police forces terrorizing American communities, normal everyday people across this country are showing up every single day with courage and defiance. On October 18, we’re going to show up in the largest peaceful protest in modern American history,” said Ezra Levin, co-founder and co-executive director of Indivisible. “Millions will come together in more cities than ever to say collectively: no kings ever in America.”

I've been following the numbers and the maps...this is enormous!!!!!! And we still have over 2 weeks to go until Oct 18th.

Americans are ANGRY!!! Even Senior citizens are finally (it's about fucking time) concerned, due to their SS and healthcare being taken away.

Spread the word...June 14th beat the 2017 Women's March and the June 14 NO KINGS protest. This will be the largest mass protest in US history. Be a part of it...PROTEST!!!

*** I attended the NO KINGS in San Diego where 80,000 people marched!!!!! Local news first reported 10,000 (they ALWAYS under report the actual numbers). I'm an experienced, local activist and I saw 2 separate protests within 1 mile of each other converge into one huge protest. As I stood on an elevated area after my march ended I saw the other protesters come to the same location and it was a SEA OF PEOPLE!!!! My mouth literally dropped open in disbelief. I get tears in my eyes just remembering the feeling of our power as united Americans against an evil dictator came from every corner of San Diego.

I looked at the NO KINGS map and once again there are 2 protests within a mile of each other. This WILL be much larger. I have the feeling I'll need to get down there 3 hours before it starts since there will be zero parking available.

Even Senior citizens are finally (it's about fucking time) concerned, due to their SS and healthcare being taken away.

Bulletin for you: At every Indivisible, 50501, or No Kings event I’ve attended, seniors were present far above their demographic numbers. In fact, at one event in, I believe, February, seniors were the ONLY ones who showed up. And they weren’t even talking about Social Security or Medicare. (One of the more common protest signs was “I can’t believe I STILL have to be protesting this shit.”). In fact, I thought it a positive sign for these demonstrations when more than just seniors started showing up in large numbers.

Angela at Parkrose Permaculture has made the same observation.

You may want to check your assumptions with on-the-ground experience.

The HANDS OFF protest in April was heavily attended by seniors. I stood with many people and we all made the same observations. Were you there in San Diego?

The media also noted that seniors were more involved, and that includes The Villages in FL.
