Democrats and income inequality

I'm sure most of us get these letters from the DNC or Congress with the list of all the things we want the Democrats to take care of and to select the ones you desire the most and then ask for a donation. Most of it lately was the things we want to stop Trump and the Republicans from doing, and the affordability problem. Fixing income inequality is never on the list. If I sent it back, I wrote it in on the space that was left for it. Most of the time, I just threw them in the trash and made a donation at the opportune time because I find them insulting.

Over the past decades, the situation has gotten worse. Sometimes the Democrats have been in charge, sometimes the Republicans. Over this period, registration in both the Democrat and Republican parties has stagnated, and the largest group by far has become the independents.

So, why is income inequality never on the list? Is because the politicians are mostly that moderate? Is it the influence of the big money donors in politics? Is it because we are not pushing for it hard enough? Who is really leading who? Are the politicians leading us, or the media and the podcasters leading us instead of us pushing the politicians?

Now we have the Democratic Socialists who are rising up and stating specifically that they endeavor to fix income inequality. They also tend to have proposals that could be controversial to the general public.

Income can be disguised in many ways, such as taking out a loan backed by stocks or real estate. That's obtaining cash, but it doesn't count as income. This skews the stats away from those wealthy enough to do this strategy.

Wealth is the better measure.

Need to get control of a.i and robotics to automate production at the basic level in order to end wage slavery, fear and hunger in our society. We can do it with a 25% increase in taxes on the rich and corporations.

We can give everyone making less then 25k per year food stamps or something new to buy food and the basics. This way we can use a.i, robotics and a new model of economics to end wage slavery and fear of the street for all.
