(4,200 posts)In 2015, after their extra-marital "relationship" ended, Black agreed to a 15‑year, $100k/month NDA plus $1M loan forgiveness, plus his assistance in her getting UK citizenship, with (Russian) former model Guzel Ganieva. Her age is not precisely known, other than that she was "in her twenties" at the start of the "relationship". There is nothing in the agreement that stipulates WHY he's paying her that money, but Black was married at the time
It's a matter of record that Black then paid Ganieva $9M-9.5M between 2015 and 2021 per the NDA. Ganieva then tweeted in early 2021, claiming that Black in 2015 used his wealth and power to coerce her into signing the NDA, and alleged that the $18M was actually a payout for his sexually abusing her for years before, during their "relationship".
At this point, Black shot back publicly, and ceased the $100K/month payments:
Any allegation of harassment or any other inappropriate behavior towards her is completely fabricated.
The truth is that I have been extorted by Ms. Ganieva for many years and I made substantial monetary payments to her, based on her threats to go public concerning our relationship, in an attempt to spare my family from public embarrassment.
She then sued him shortly after, asking for punitive damages for the alleged sexual abuse, and for defamation against her, based on Black publicly defending himself against the allegations she tweeted.
The court rejected this 2021 lawsuit, and ordered her to pay Black's attorney fees under anti-SLAPP regulations.
Basically, they ruled you cannot:
1) Sign an $18M NDA
2) Accept $9M under said NDA over the course of 6 years
3) Violate the NDA by publicly announcing that you were coerced into signing the NDA, claiming that the reason it existed was that you were sexually abused by the person you entered into the agreement with,
4) Then sue that person for damages and defamation when they defend themselves against the allegations that you are making, in violation of said NDA that you had made with that person, and accepted $9M under.
For better or worse, in order for something like this to work in court, you probably cannot wait 6 years, and cash $9M worth of checks before doing so, basically. I don't love it, but I suppose I can "see that argument"
So, onto Epstein. He appears in one email in "the files" as the person apparently "handing" a promised $100,000 payment to an unknown woman (but possibly Gaviera) associated with Black (she writes L mentioned hes going to transfer me $100,000 but Ive received $28,000; Epstein confirms he is now handling it).
In March 2026, Wyden released a report saying he believes that email suggests that Black used Epstein as a middleman for "hush payments" to women Black was paying off, and perhaps sexually abused.
So, Black has been (well-deservedly) subpoenaed to Congress, so his "input" should be quite interesting. Of ALL the people linked in some way to Epstein, apart from of course Brunel, he's the one I think to be most obviously "involved".
