What really happened to the "Reflection Pool"??

What material is the bottom of the pool?

I doubt that it is made from asphalt, the type that we see on our highways?

In my opinion, it was probably made from poured concrete over steel re-bar? Then they probably put the waterproof coating on top of that? It was not meant for heavy vehicles.

But when the White House drove "the Beast" and their convoy over the finished job, they likely broke the concrete under the new "rubber mat"? This is just my opinion, but I believe they did much more damage to the pool than just the rubber covering they put on the pool? They likely damaged the entire base of the pool and it will have to be rebuilt, mostly from scratch.

Just my opinion.

The more he points fingers the more guilty he is

The lawyers for those arrested for vandalizing it should say...

"I would rather be representing the true vandal of the Reflecting pool but he's somewhere sleeping on the job"
