Stephen Miller plan to punish Americans with disabilities

MS NOW
Jun 25, 2026

According to Bloomberg Law, Stephen Miller was behind a DOJ memo that lets states institutionalize Americans with disabilities instead of funding the community care that allows them to remain home—undoing decades of reform and precedent.

Other than the fact he's ethically challenged, I think is because able bodied people would literally kick his ass.

.......latch onto something like "America's been in Reverse too long, lets put it back in Drive" or something like that to encapsulate how the Republicans and Trumps have torn down so many good things about America.

She lives independently thanks to friends and neighbors and services like transportation to and from doctors appointments. She gets her groceries and meds delivered from Publix. She has a helper come in 2-3 times a week for her personal hygiene and catheter care but she is in no way a problem for anyone. Nor does she deserve to be put away in an institution of Steven Miller’s cruel dreams. She’s worked hard all her life only to retire and less than a year later, find herself in this situation. It could happen to anyone..a virus, bacteria, car accident..anything can happen to put us in such a position. This administration is the most horrific thing ever to infiltrate our country. 🤬

this is just typical GOP fiscal irresponsibility and ignorance of what things really cost. It's far cheaper to maintain someone at home or in a small group setting than to institutionalise them.

Also: (USHMM). Program to Murder People with Disabilities

The Euthanasia Program was the systematic murder of institutionalized patients with disabilities in Germany. It started in 1939, about two years before the Nazis began systematically murdering Europe's Jews as part of the "Final Solution." The program was one of many radical eugenic measures which aimed to restore the racial "integrity" of the German nation.

It aimed to eliminate what eugenicists and their supporters considered "life unworthy of life": those individuals who—they believed—because of severe psychiatric, neurological, or physical disabilities represented both a genetic and a financial burden on German society and the state. - Child "Euthanasia" Program...
