Norma Rae

I must have spent well over a year checking to see if this movie was available for streaming. It wasn’t. But, good news, it was possible to check out a DVD of it from my county library. After a wait of several weeks it was finally available!

Oh my, I had forgotten how brilliant, and brutal, it was. And wondered why streaming services didn’t have it. Then, my mind went there . . . Was it a conspiracy? A search informed me that it wasn’t available in the U. S., but it was in Germany and Switzerland.

Interlibrary Loan can find incredibly obscure items.

edit to add: without those weird, ugly digital glitches.
