Paid for the destruction of the East Wing and he wants taxpayers to pay for ballroom, and pay for his numerous golfing.

i dont know if it was af1 pilots, or in general. but he insisted pilots extorted raises by demanding them mid-flight, and refusing to land if they didnt get it.

My husband is a pilot, also.

Neither of them, nor any of their other pilot friends, ever pulled that crap. Refusing to land if they didn’t get fill-in-the-blank-here? What bullshit! ANY pilot my husband OR I knew was the ultimate in safety-mindedness. NONE of them would EVER risk their lives or the lives of their colleagues or passengers, or threaten to use them as barter to get whatever it was that they wanted or believed they were owed.

I never knew ANY pilots who DIDN’T put safety first, and second, AND third, above ALL ELSE. Piloting a plane, whether you’re just flying yourself OR you have others in the plane with you, is ALWAYS a Safety-First priority.

...was in the squadron at Andrews AFB that flies all the VIP planes. In the military, you get paid by your rank and time in grade. While he himself was not assigned to the Air Force 1 crew, he does not recall ever hearing that those pilots were paid any differently than any other military pilots.

I was in the Air Force nurse corps. There is no such thing as asking for a raise.
