General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI have come to believe that Trump is psychotic.
He honestly believes that the 2020 election was stolen, and that there was a deep state that was out to get him concerning the Russia investigation and indictments. He may not be trying to steal the 2026 election, but he thinks he is stopping us from stealing it. What has convinced me of this, is the degree to which he is pursuing the retribution indictments with the DOJ, even though it has become obvious to objective people paying attention. He is doing it because he believes that it was done to him. The weaponization slush fund is another indicator. This is even more dangerous than a leader who is severly corrupt or lacking in character.

(442 posts)The vast, vast majority of psychopaths are highly intelligent. I think that rules him out.

(37,703 posts)just ignorant and sees no reason to rectify his ignorance. He is a bullshitter and doesn't care about the truth.
He is a narcissistic sociopath however.

If so, you would be right in thinking his beliefs are genuine. Genuinely psychotic and paranoid.

(24,484 posts)The term psychotic would imply the presence of some sort of auditory or visual hallucinations, rather than just delusional beliefs.

Suffice to say, the man isnt well, mentally or physically.
