Who watches Bill Meyer and why?

He's HORRIBLE

He does not align with our values and routinely denigrates Democrats.

He aligns with some of my values and not others. I denigrate Democrats sometimes, too (but never on DU!). If I watch his show now, I usually end up yelling back at him.

If you don't want to see Maher "promoted", just block Rhiannon12866. Its the only time he really gets discussed, and most of the comments are "Fuck Bill Maher".

I say Bill Maher does align with our values. I await anyone with higher seniority and a citation or two to the Dem platform to dispute it.

have an honest one-on-one conversation with a member of the 'FBM' club.

They take advantage of the DU rules, and alert on anyone who allegedly "attacks" them - i.e., asking them a question. At the same time, they are attacking a group of DU'ers who happen to watch a particular TV show.

I’m really looking forward to David Sedaris. We saw him in person last month at a sold-out event, very entertaining. He said that although he never pushes his books, he's making an exception for his new one because JD apparently has one coming out this week and he wants to outsell him. He was on stage for around 90 minutes, then took questions from the audience, and stayed afterwards for a book signing. He was wearing a skirt, which he believes more men should do!

Ian Bremmerand Hagar Chemali could be interesting as well.

And of course, his opening and New Rules are always fun.

The back and forth with David Sedaris was off the charts good, especially his story about the dog who bit him in Portland!

I could have listened to his stories for the entire show...

the billionaires, or her access to them, it seems. She had a lot of nothing to say and I thought she was going to smack Ian Bremmer in the face with her hands flying all over the place.
