special interests. The "oligarchs" and billionaires dislike his policies because he campaigns on raising taxes on the superrich, enacting a "billionaire minimum tax", and breaking up corporate monopolies. His economic agenda threatens the financial advantages currently enjoyed by corporate elites.
The powerful are attacking him with everything they can make up.

I'll even give him a free pass on the sexting because while gross, it's not in the same realm.

(2,185 posts)If a Republican had a long history of saying and doing disrespectful things to women like women are to be blamed for rape and sexting right after getting married, would you readily believe them?
He talks a good game about change, but what's the evidence? The sexting and the most recent claims of abusive behavior are from the 2020s.

(2,185 posts)Sorry if you believe in party over every other value, but if patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel, what's partisanship the refuge of? Swalwell jad to go regardless of what it did to the California governor's race or his seat. Morality for me doesn't stop because someone is a Democrat. Plus it's really weird you're jumping right past the primary. It's not a binary choice that you want to reduce it to.

(4,493 posts)a critical lodestar of American democracy. I shudder to think of the state of American politics without AIPAC for, without their unimpeachable and steadfast desire to promote the interests of everyday Americans, we would certainly fall apart. How could our party possibly survive on a message of economic and social justice if it didn't include endless wars and an imperial client kingdom's welfare state?
Thank you AIPAC. You really show us the clear boundary between foreign interference, espionage, and diplomacy. You are certainly on the up and up. Always have been. Forever will.
God bless AIPAC and all they do for us, Americans, and for their desire for peace and prosperity to all.
As if it were not obvious...
PS -- I here every time someone thanks AIPAC, a unicorn shits a rainbow.
