All valid points, Cory Booker. 100%. And, other than voting in November, I'm at a loss for what to do about it.

I am OK with Bluesky user Cory Laran being a bit overzealous about "fixing" Trump with Republican majorities in the House & Senate.

There's a meme going around about Republicans planning to impeach Trump before the Midterms to save their own hides. I personally think that is pure, unadulterated bullshit. Doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see it happen. It means that I think the Republicans lack the abilty to find their spines AND unite over something that would turn Trump into the most horrific snarling bitch-beast of all time. They'd all get death threats. He'd say mean things about them and "endorse" every loser on the planet as punishment. And they are all terrified of this. Trump is not going to be impeached before the midterms.

So I am not a fan of "I'm just gonna leave this here." Booker is spot-on, but what I'm not seeing in his post is any suggestion of what to do about it, other than point it out to people who are already painfully aware of it. The MAGAts aren't gonna have an epiphany after reading his post, if they read it at all.

So...IS THERE anything that can be done BEFORE the Midterms, in ABSENCE of having House & Senate majorities, that DOES NOT DEPEND ON cooperation from Republicans?
