3. One of two things is going to happen:

Either #1 and #2 are both Democrats, in which case we win the governorship because it is only Democrats in the race.

OR

#1 or #2 is a Republican, and in the general election, the rest of the Democratic field votes for the Democrat.

California has a very weird system.

Now if Porter would just drop out and endorse. And the other low polling Dems too. But Porter's endorsement would actually be decisive I think.

and could help whoever she endorses. One poll I saw recently had her at eight percent. Becerra or Steyer could use some of that.

I’d be surprised if she hit 5%.

What a shame. Her statewide ambitions sort of imploded, but so much of it was self inflicted. From her reaction to losing the senate primary to the ridiculous video.
