I once was at a store and the young woman at the counter gave me too much change. I pointed out her mistake and gave her back the extra dollars she gave me. She said, "Thanks for being so honest."

I replied, "Honesty is not a matter of degree. One is honest or one is not."

That is called to mind by your question. Republicans are soulless monsters who are destroying our country. What does it matter which ones are worse? Can you excuse lesser treason? Oh, these guys are taking food out of the mouths of hungry children and allowing the planet to slowly die of heat, but at least they're not as bad as those guys doing the same things more efficiently?

Political affiliation is different from our genetically predisposed Liberal/Conservative mindset and that most of us are a mixture of each mindset somewhere along that spectrum. Who do you mean by Republicans? Elected officials? Voters? All conservatively minded people? Each state has some "worst', some "best" (although I'm not sure what that means in today's political environment), and most who fall somewhere in between.
