(68,501 posts)I know I am privileged to live in a very blue state. I will do what I can, where I can, as much as I can. I can't let this awful turd get me distracted. I am too old and I don't want to go down with a whimper.
Luv you, malaise!

(3,658 posts)There is nothing left to talk about. They support a fascist- monster dictator and we do not. We believe in democracy and the Constitution, they do not no matter what they say or pretend. 'Nuff said.

(1,256 posts)Knows that many people actually love Stephen Colbert and no one loves him. That devastates the insecure piece of shit. The Homelander character on the series The Boys nailed it in its portrayal of Trump as a superhero. Im just surprised it aired on a Bezos owned property.

(31,986 posts)Of all the Things Trump has done to destroy this nation...
starting with embrace of fossil fuels and destroying our Green Energy adoption...
the tariff trade war that has cost me personally at least a few thousand dollars...
the immigration war and ICE thugs killing Americans and ripping apart families that have committed no crimes...
The war in Iran...
and yet, the one bright spot for me was to laugh a little some nights listening to The Late Show and Stephen Colbert.
And now it is gone and I feel very sad. The last show was great... but sad.
Fuck Trump and the Ellison assholes ( father and son ). I will never again watch any content or go to any Paramount property ( or SkyDance, whatever the fuck that is ).

(1,269 posts)Why is Colbert off the air?
Not because of ratings.
Not because of lack of critical accolades.
But because, to borrow from Shakespeare, someone has more hair than wit does not like to be ridiculed.
And he found an enabler in the Ellisons.
