Unionizing white collar jobs - especially tech workers - is something that would be incredible, and I don't hear us talking about it much.
It would act as a guard against abuse of AI / automation to replace employees. In the tech sector it would additionally add barriers to offshoring and replacement with H1Bs (corps love their indentured servants).
We need more folks who put unions at the forefront of our messaging.
