Monday

Made DOE a cabinet level position. Installed solar hot water panels on the White House.

Then Reagan got elected and (1) uninstalled the panels and (2) booted DOE from a cabinet position. Since then, Republican Presidents (Bush1/Bush2/Trump) have fought trillion dollar wars with our money in the ME on behalf of Big Oil.
