Make up part of that 30%
Football players also are in that
Saw a report that the majority of (American) Baseball players and Hockey players are Republikkan. A little less than 50% of football players are. I'm guessing a lot of pro soccer players are republikkans too

Soccer (fútbol) is, as you may know, often described as "the gentleman's sport played by brutes."

That elitist saw is based on the fact that many professional soccer players - particularly in the third world - came from very working-class backgrounds (like the great Lionel Messi) or slums outright.

As success mounts, they begin to run into what had been an unfamiliar problem to most of them: taxes.

Their (typically right-wing) lawyers and accountants, Cuban cigar in hand, then begin regaling them with tales of how much more they could have "if it weren't for these damned leftist governments, who then take your money and give it to lazy blacks (and/or steal it themselves)."

And so before long, the naive, eager-eyed young fútbol star becomes a rabid right-winger - and an inveterate tax cheat.

Moving his family to some wealthy gated community often adds to this new-found conservatism.

And if a right-winger cheats them (as former Argentine President - and Trump pal - Mauricio Macri did to star forward and RW convert Carlos Tévez)?

It's apparently all in the game.

It should go that low and lower, but about 15% of the electorate support fascism, 30 to 35% support authoritarianism. So we might be seeing some ignorant people peel off. (Those who have been truly harmed in the last year) Bush dropped to 25% but that was in a full economic meltdown. Ever meet a Bush voter who admitted they were wrong?

Thus I think 25% plus or minus a couple of points is the floor.

One caveat, Trump is a bigger loser AND if we get down that low then the Country will be in full meltdown mode.

and it's not like Trump is actually doing anything for these people other than validating their hate for the people they hate anyway. The risk of being drafted to fight in Iran or losing their job to AI or not being able to afford food is going to intrude on their realities at some point.

One thing that seems to be happening is the number of moving from "Strongly Approve" to "Somewhat Approve".

Also, the number of "Strongly Disapprove" shows highly motivated voters that want this to end and are more likely to overcome obstacles to make that happen.

The GOP has given up on trying to appeal to voters and concentrate on stopping people from voting.

Go out and talk to actual Republicans and I promise you they are all 100% loyal and to think different is only fooling yourself.

How many times are we going to go through this?
We listen to polls that say "Republicans are doing horrible" only for him to win again.
This country values certain traits above all others and that is misogyny, xenophobia, bigotry and racism. Oh and this country LOVES pedophiles and rapists. It's literally full of them
I mean our country is literally run by a man that is both a pedophile and a rapist. Millions of people voted for him knowing that about him.
We literally busted 8 different DISNEY CRUISE SHIPS full of pedophiles just this week.

I would love nothing more than dance around the May Pole with puppies and kittens and talk about how great our country is but that just isn't the case. Our country is deeply rooted in hate and anger and violence and above all willful ignorance. We are literally famous for it around the world.
Our country is world famous for three things and three things only, literally synonymous with being America:
Ignorance
Violence
Greed

That's it.

Trump gave indication in the last couple of days he is still considering action against Cuba. If he follows through, these mere sour feelings will turn to white-hot rage from the public.

And that is still not counting what's going to happen as summertime disaster season cranks up and his emergency relief will be as bungled as the rest of his efforts are. Some wildfires and hurricanes would likely only pile onto the electorate's frustration.
