Frankly, if my grossly overweight patient with heart failure and

Obvious deterioration both mentally and physically, progressing rapidly, grossly swollen legs and feet and history of Transient Ischemic Attacks, I would advise against a 20,000 mile round trip airline flight, no matter how mobile you could in fact be during that flight.

This trip has potential to be highly problematic health-wise. But what do I know?

is pressurized to the equivalent of 10,000 feet above seal level, which is at about the limit of where you can start to get hypoxia. So an overweight 80-year-old with possible congestive heart failure and a history of TIAs flying to China is basically going to be sitting on top of San Jacinto Peak for 10 hours. Many hours at 10,000' can reduce O2 saturation to about 88%, which might not be a good thing for said overweight 80-year-old.

What better way to precipitate a full on war with China than to have a president perish while visiting the country.

They will claim assassination, they will claim machinations and they will start a war that will run for decades because the people who are making billions want to keep on making billions. War is the only way to keep that number climbing.

As far as the costs? Well, the rich don't ever suffer consequences, so they won't care.

We could make them care... but we are too far up their asses to do that.

It gets filtered if the system is working properly, but everyone is breathing the same air for the entire time you're on the plane. The longer the flight, the more time everyone breathes the same air. You can wear a mask if you want to, but it probably won't matter much.

He should do ok, everything he'd need is on the plane, and he can play a round of golf-cart golf without oxygen, so the cabin pressure, even if it's a standard airline pressure, shouldn't bother him.

I'm assuming he's got CHF, some medical problems we don't know about, and that while he's slowly declining cognitively, his two main problems are that he does have narcissistic personality disorder, and the other is that he gets constantly rewarded by his followers for his dysfunction. It's on us, the American electorate who put him there twice.

Folks have been speculating on Trump's health -- and predicting his imminent demise -- for nearly ten years. Some of the predictions cite doctors who allegedly are experts, such as the one quoting an anonymous (always anonymous) "certified medical professional with 14 years experience" who declared in early December that Trump would be dead in 3-5 months.
