by coughing and sneezing, but by "close physical contact". But just now an expert on exposure assessment science from Harvard University said on MSNOW that it is spread through the air and not just close physical contact.
I wonder who to trust. The trump administration or Joseph Allen, an expert from Harvard. It is a dilemma, isn't it?
This expert also said that he thinks the threat is low to the general public, so I was glad to hear that.

Until another DUer pointed me to a recent article saying this South American strain is transmitted by air (very unusual mutation), i thought it was still rodent to human.
Learned this change had taken place just a couple days ago.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
