He is an idiot, and his decisions have real consequences for our health. Does TSF have to get sick from hantavirus?

(13,318 posts)And Trump was still re-elected.
When Republicans are in control, the body count is irrelevant. On the other hand, remember the mass hysteria over Benghazi, when 4 Americans were killed?

(262 posts)based upon his own nonrational decision-making. Donny has his own logic and he'll stick with it because the GOP wants him in place. They want him in place because they're all getting filthy rich with bribery, graft, conflicting interests, and double-dealing. So if Bobby is instrumental in enriching more and more of the GOP loyalists, he'll stay in place and open the gates to the Treasury. If he can't deliver, he's out.

(12,571 posts)I noted that Trump waved off the hantavirus/Cruise ship outbreak as a no biggie. If the infection rate grows, Trump will no doubt blame Bobby Kennedy and kick him to the curb, tout suite. Kennedy fired cruise ship health inspectors, so he'd be an easy mark.
Trump's dismissal of the outbreak reminded me of the early Covid days--no big deal, it will go away like a miracle, etc., etc., etc.
I have read, however, that RFK Jr is worried about a firing coming his way, that he feels he's been pushed to the sidelines. The recent choice/nomination of a CDC Director was done against Kennedy's advice.
Rear Admiral Erica Schwartz is, after all, an actual medical doctor with an impressive resume; she's NOT a woo-woo choice.
And OMG, she's a woman, a black woman who could kick Kennedy's ass when it comes to medical knowledge and leadership.
His days are numbered. Hope it's sooner rather than later than later.
