Michael Savage, Bill O’Reilly, Roger Ailes, Glenn Beck, Pat Buchanan, Tucker Carlson, Ann Coulter, Dinesh D’Souza, Ross Douthat, New Gingrich, Jonah Goldberg, Alex Jones, Megyn Kelly, Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin, Michael Savage, Cal Thomas and George Will used to complain about the liberal bias in the media.

Nowadays, it’s Conservatives who own the media.

Republicans are better for the economy than Democrats.

It was an effective strategy.

I worked in TV News for forty years, three different stations and one network. The owners and CEOs were almost all conservatives. Many of the producers, reporters, anchors and crew people were also conservative.

Usually right leaning, but in the last 5 years at least, radical right wing rabid.

Never a liberal bias to the media at all.

Ever.

What they ignore is the bottleneck that exists with their editors. The further you go up the chain, the more risk-averse and conservative those gatekeepers are.

Especially on a national level.
