I'm no fan of Netanyahu, but he does not dictate U.S policy. He may advocate for a particular position, as all national leaders do, but the final decision rests with Potus. The idea that the prime minister of tiny Israel controls the leader of the most powerful nation in history is ludicrous, even if that leader is a petty and ignorant man-child. This cartoon and the meme it represents is just a variation on an ancient stereotype; that Jews run the world.

Don’t complicate this. Undue influence is ratcheting up exponentially from a foreign government receiving billions for decades in military aid from the US. Our Congress has capitulated our sovereignty repeatedly to do the bidding of a nation along with all the atrocities they impose in Palestine. There is a parallel much like the current misadministration and Congress doing Putin’s bidding against Ukraine.

Please don’t accuse me of antisemitism because I recognize the imbalances and inconsistencies inherent in the preference to dole out such exorbitant funding pressured by a foreign lobby in our government, but immune from justified criticism.

capitulate our sovereignty repeatedly to do the bidding of Israel. What hold does such a small country have over the wealthiest and most powerful nation in history?

BTW: From Google AI;

Almost all U.S. financial aid to Israel is used to purchase American-built weapons and defense services....the U.S. provides $3.8 billion per year in military aid, with the vast majority earmarked for procurement from U.S. defense contractors.

Military aid for Israel is a method for congress to subsidise the defense industry, which employs over 2 million Americans.

waiting for you to present a counter to the reality I presented without rather a blind defense of obscene military expenditure to preserve realestate with no other reason than “our people are more entitled than those unfavored people”.

Surely you can do better than- a god said it’s ok because it says in our sacred tradition we are more entitled.

For an American historical perspective of European entitlement-see what systematic theft of North American lands does to indigenous people. Our apartheid Indian reservations were and are as cruel in their attempt to vanquish the “subhuman” here as foolishly and greedily as any destruction of dwindling Palestinian villages are for the sake of real estate.

I hear U.S. customs are checking phone photos at the Maine crossing to Nova Scotia. I've loaded up with these kind of anti-trump photos, and look forward to the conflict.
