There are 15 judges with about 4 of them running unchallenged, another 3 are not qualified, the rest were a slog to investigate but I did it!!
I'm stuck on one State Senator 24th district, the Treasurer and still have to investigate 2 props.
I spent about 6.5 hours digging and digging because damn it, I'm not sitting any election out ever!!
Hopefully I'll be done with my selections tomorrow and drop off my ballot on Wednesday or Thursday.
edited to correct the count to 61. lol

Its ridiculous.
I am in Santa Clara county and we only have one judge unchallenged.

(12,454 posts)I don't really mind tooooo much.
Gotta know what the hell I'm voting for, so I always set aside a couple of days to investigate.
I typically wait a bit for the LA Times endorsements which I find helpful but they aren't out yet so I've been digging into statements, interviews, candidate sites and their endorsements which I do anyway.... even when the LAT endorsements come out.

(40,294 posts)I had to take my shoes off to count, and my tally of 133 candidates is a little fuzzy because I was still wearing socks.

(12,454 posts)Luckily we usually have it whittled down to just a few candidates - except JUDGES. Though admittedly that information is now a bit better to extrapolate.

(5,487 posts)place to vote.
I would hope most people would vote by mail, so they take their time finding the candidate they want, and mark it correctly.
I wonder how many of those candidates are in the race to muddy up the works?
