Look, Platner is a major problem. Sorry, but I am not going to pretend I think it is OK that we are considering nominating a man who as an adult said the things he said and got the tattoo he got. Costello has already run a senate race (against King in 2024). He apparently didn't say women who got raped should reflect on what they did wrong, call people retarded, post anti gay, anti rural, and anti woman posts. We can, and should, do better. I spent vast amounts of 2024 saying that Robinson was utterly uniquely unqualified for what he said and what he did. While I will grant Platner isn't quite as bad he isn't all that much better in terms of his personal conduct.
