I can hear his resignation speech now...

"Oh, I have done SO MUCH for this country, and I was happy to do it, but people are SO ungrateful that I just can't take any more. Big, strong men with tears in their eyes have come up to me and begged me not to resign, but the nastiness is just too much to bear." Etc., etc.

Do it, Donnie, do it!

I'd still hate him and want him prosecuted to the fullest extent possible even if he resigned. And I'd send him and all his supporters, civilian and corporate, who helped install him a bill for all the damage he's done. Tough crap, I ain't cleaning up this mess alone.

that there are no magical deities out there. If they could fix things like this, but don't, what kind of deities are they, really?

An excellent argument for atheism, I think.

So, there won't be any reward in the polls. Of course, he'll never know that, because he'll have been turned off.

It's why he has his lackeys go out and claim his approval is "at an all-time high" or "skyrocketing." The guy has a highly abnormal psyche that shields him from the real reality. That being said, may something incredibly painful remove him from office. I'd highly approve of that.

I’m no statistician, but those odds seem more favorable than resignation.
