The gas stations are flirting with the $5.00 psychological ceiling. If it goes over that, heads will explode. Then it will be on to $6.00 a gallon.

This morning all up from yesterday. Hovering around $5 Friday, and this morning; $5.25, $5.71, $5.69

Shell, Chevron and a whatever that one is that starts with a B... can't come up with it off top of my head right now. Those are the prices for cash, debit or credit is at least. 05 more per gallon

Lowest is about $3.60.

Drove by a few gas stations with their electronic signs off. Too many to be on the fritz. I’m thinking they turned them off hoping to dupe customers who pull in.

I saw diesel at a stunning $6.19 a gallon. Everything travels on the road or the rails, and diesel is how it moves.

And, we're about 60 miles from Chicago so my guess is it's over $5 as you get near the city.
