In 2025, the cleaning process was highlighted by a video showcasing the use of a "Super-Scrubber" to remove a year's worth of trash, algae, and bird droppings. The circulation system reduces the need to refill with municipal water and has limited, but not eliminated, episodic problems such as parasite outbreaks that required full draining in 2017...
