Make no mistake, Krasnov was behind his good buddy, Prince Bone Saw, pumping 6 billion dollars into the LIV golf league.
WTF does Prince Bone Saw care about golf?
Why do I believe this? After the 1/6 insurrection the PGA canceled 2 major tournaments that were scheduled for Krasnov golf courses and Krasnov was furious. Krasnov is the kind of person to hold a grudge for a very long time.
Krasnov got Prince Bone Saw to pay out huge bonus money to get big name PGA players to defect. Tournaments paid out large purses and were cut down from 4 days of competition to 3.
The majority of the PGA tour players stayed with the PGA. Krasnov wanted LIV to bring down the PGA tour or force a merger where he would have a say on how it was run.
Dare I say that I believe that LIV golf has played more tournaments at Krasnov golf courses than any other, numerous tourneys are scheduled this year.
Prince Bone Saw will have put 6 billion dollars into LIV, but he announced he is done after this year, 6 billion dollars down the drain to Krasnov, anyone want to fund LIV next year?
I hope the PGA tour makes it very difficult for LIV golfers to return to the PGA tour, make them pay up their Saudi blood money to be reinstated, make them jump through hoops. Fuck Krasnov.

A fee to buy back in.
No exempt status for a hear, no matter the player's world ranking.
Exclusion from signature events for at least the first year.
And, with this latest turn of events, the LIV defectors have zero leverage.
As the tour flourished while nobody really missed Rahm, Koepka, D. Johnson, Burns et al, the Tour has gained all the aces, kings & queens.
Good. Let the cash happy traitors grovel to regain their status.
They obviously have no moral compass (they took blood money), so a conscience needs to applied for them.
Ive always thought LIV golf was nothing more than Saudi money laundering. I mean they were paying billions of dollars and the events werent on network tv, or they rarely were. How do you plan on making money airing your product on CW?

In December 2025, it was announced that Koepka would be leaving LIV Golf...
In January 2026, it was announced that Koepka would return to the PGA Tour. As part of his return, he was ineligible to qualify for PGA Tour equity bonuses until 2030 and agreed to make a $5 million charitable donation at the PGA Tour's request.[57][58] Koepka stated that he would make his PGA Tour return at the Farmers Insurance Open at the end of January, which would be his first start in a regular PGA Tour event since the Valspar Championship in March 2022.

No idea if the other LIVs will return to PGA or at what cost.
ESPN personality Trey Wingo:
"I can promise you one person that youll never see in any way in an official capacity with the PGA Tour is Phil Mickelson. That bridge has been burned, detonated, destroyed, nuked, lasered to death. There is no building that bridge back," Wingo explained.

(77,175 posts)And I totally agree regarding Mickelson.
Remember that more guys than just him took shots at the tour on the way out.
Mickelson was just the loudest & the most obnoxious. But, obnoxious is what Phil does. There's a reason he has no friends on tour, and pretty much never did.
