What?

‘Republican state lawmaker Matt Sabourin has proposed that New Hampshire schools teach Holocaust denialism.

To testify in favor, he brought a Holocaust denier recently convicted of indecent exposure after being found naked with a bottle of baby oil on a playground at 4 a.m.’

I legitimately don’t understand. What? Holocaust denialism should be taught in New Hampshire schools and someone naked on a playground with baby oil in the middle of the night is the witness for that? What are the chances being naked on a playground with baby oil at 4 a.m. isn’t his only crime? I fear it isn’t his worst.

I grew up in an age of computers, and smartphone and social media came of age in my teen years, but I’m willing to bet some of you are old enough to remember when someone like this wouldn’t be taken seriously, let alone in government? Back when people like these were just outcasts with no traction instead of an appeal to a demographic.

I mean, I don’t expect this proposal to go anywhere, but the fact this has even been a thing.

Keep Republicans away from children. If Sarah McBride proposed this, she’d be hung from a tree.
