If you lived as an adult in the American South anytime in the last 35 years

you learned that status quo whites have euphemisms for "Black people" they deploy with a wink and a nod. Sometimes it is to provide deniability (so they believe) for their ugly attitudes or race-based complaints. Sometimes just to be "more polite."

One of the most common euphemisms used for "Black folks" is "Democrats." It is so widespread and time-honored that it made the migration to social media.

No one has ever been fooled by these deep-fried bigots' disgusting behavior. We've just been powerless to quell it.
