Reich points out that during the tenure of this administration, people are more apt to strike out at their fellow citizens. We apparently have become a much angrier and less tolerant society. That is so sad. Peace starts with me.

(5,524 posts)they advocate causing serious physical, or emotional harm to people who have done nothing to them personally. I have always thought that hating or looking down on people just because they weren't born the same color, gender, or nationality as you, to be the height of ignorance. None of us get to choose those things anyway. These bigots views and behaviors are things I will never find acceptable.
Now I don't approve of violence so I would never advocate it against them. I reserve the right, however, to hold on to my personal view that they willingy choose to be despicable human beings that I have zero respect for unless they truly decide to reform themselves into people who actually care about others, even those who are different. I also won't pretend to be sorry for when they get smacked in the ass, by universal Karma.
