When viewed "through the lens of historical pattern recognition" you ARE NOT CRAZY.

Whether Butler, or this latest "incident" was, or was not LIHOP (intentionally lax security inviting crisis) or somehow engineered (mentally unstable people or members of a resistance CAN BE, and HAVE BEEN intentionally radicalized in the service of the counter-resistance), we will likely never know. So, absent exposure, asserting "staged" makes one a "conspiracy nut."

Because my first thought on hearing about events at the WHCA dinner was "too well timed with all-time polling lows to be real," I am apparently a conspiracy nut.

I had been kicking my "nuttiness" a bit as I read the "staged" and "STFU about it" posts here. Then I saw Figarosmom's post of Richard Teresi's latest.

Richard Teresi's message is an essential one. Perhaps we will never know which POV is true, but the fact that my initial reaction to the latest "incident" was "something is seriously wrong here -- too convenient" no longer bothers me. Even if just a gut instinct that is somehow unequivocally proven to be wrong, when viewed "through the lens of historical pattern recognition" that gut instinct is NOT CRAZY."

billions off the presidency and his family making money out of this war, the cover-up of the Epstein files, are just a few examples. In this context, there is nothing nutty about suspecting these shootings are also conspiracies.

And it all MUST be investigated and prosecuted before we can even begin to move forward. None of this "look forward, not back" bullshit that helped pave the road to our current hell.

The sort of engineering that would have to take place to incite Butler and/or the WHCA dinner incident would necessarily be covert, and therefore far less likely to be exposed. Of course, people as corrupt as those who have co-opted our government are absolutely capable of such covert operations. My suspicions are not going anywhere. And in fact, I suspect they have attempted to incite "ANTIFA" violence at No Kings and other events. Unfortunately, I don't think there will be an appetite to seek to uncover those types of "conspiracies" -- and so we are unlikely to ever know for sure.

They are also able to monitor plotters and let plots play out before taking action at the moment of their choosing.

I do not think a poster should be chided as a cospiracy theorist when we do not have a transparent administration.

The DOJ is already using this incident to pressure plaintiffs in the ballroom case t drop their lawsuit.

Next the bad actors in the cabinet and upper echelons of the administration will be demanding secret service protection.. some have already been living on military bases.

They all know their own plots and lawlessness, their embrace of evil doing, so they probably do fear those whom they are supposed to be serving.

... if it was somehow engineered, I think that the primary aim is demonize "ANTIFA" and pull MAGA back together in the face of all-time polling lows.

I don't think there will actually be much of a "bump" from this, but time will tell.

And on the lighter side, my favorite ANTIFA sign ever:
