Obviously it’s just one of those 20 against 1 YouTube bits, but I’m guessing Talarico agreed to it because it’s a chance for him to convince a range a disenchanted voters that he’s not only sincere but has a plan to get on a path towards change. By responding to the undecided of various demographics, he can convince others that he has the will and ideas to make their lives better. Pretty smart if he pulls it off. Also, some of his rhetoric might prove useful to like-minded democrats running elsewhere.

I just noticed this was released before the primary. I hope he continues to engage a wide range of voters publicly now that he’s in the general.
