(3,653 posts)...it's not a good look for Steyer, particularly at a time when Trump is utilizing private prison contractors to wrongfully imprison God only knows how many people in the U.S.

(3,653 posts)It's pretty effective. Every person I've spoken to regarding Steyer has brought up this exact issue. Steyer's response ad is something to the effect that he has evolved on the issue. Steyer's ad ends with applause though, making it feel oddly self congratulatory and off putting.

(3,653 posts)...I don't think she realizes that it's not really a great look for someone seeking the Governorship in a state where Democrats hold a super-majority in the legislature and where registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans 2 to 1.
