Do you boil your pasta

Or do you do like I do.
Store it in the fridge, 1 in a can of tomatoe juice and 1 in a can of lemon juice
And all of a sudden you have hydrated , flavored pasta.

Splash of rum.

At 1/2 mile altitude, water boils at 207℉ instead of 212.

Patience!

And I get to drain it at the al-dente of choice.

The reason for tubular and certain other shapes is to hold the sauce.

Only rehydrates it to the consistency of “fresh” uncooked pasta. It isn’t cooking the flour, etc.
