Ossoff/Beshear 2028...Two Southern Democrats like Clinton/Gore. This is the winning ticket.

Young, handsome, qualified Democrats. The Republicans would have a hard time 'othering' them. I'm down.

This ticket guarantees a Georgia victory, and for the first time since 1996, Kentucky will give us their 8 EV's.

with more liberal leaning types moving there and things like the tech and entertainment industry .

They would never have won in 1992 .

And this doesn't even get into their race and religion which would have made them not acceptable. Even Joe Lieberman was not acceptable for them.

The people Thinking a California democrat wins nationally are not in touch with much of the country. Kamala lost because she was a Californian, not because she was ethnic nor a woman.

Among a myriad of other reasons: No time to mount a campaign; Joe's debate; the American memory of a flea; and no immediate and severe arrests, trials, and punishments---I mean, like in February 2021---of the insurrectionists.

But Kamala's being from California? 😄😄😄

No.

In Texas, it was because she was a black woman. Period. It wouldn't have mattered if she was from Texas. I was so flattered she campaigned in Houston--she packed that arena with 30,000 people. Amazing for Texas. But no, her appeal was not enough to overcome the color of her skin and her sex in this racist, backward state.

How the rest of the country is. Look, I have nothing against Newsom, etc., but I want WIN above all else. Allow me to debate and argue with a Democrat as president on an issue I don't agree with, than having Vance or Rubio in there where I disagree 100% of the time.

Why the hell must I put an electric car port in my garage? I live 120 miles from a real city (and even that one is only 100,000 people). I’m never buying an electric car because it makes zero sense for me, yet the Democrats push this issue so here I am (and yes, I resent it because it’s money I don’t have to spend).

Trump’s dumb tariffs already put beef prices through the roof. Now we have people trying to pass laws that say only bison can be put on BLM. Yes, let’s kill the cheap food supply. What a smart idea! I love paying $8 for a pound of 80/20 so someone can feel like it’s the Wild West. While we are rat-fucking ourselves - let’s put some more wolves here too so the ranchers can lose calves to them and we can pay more $$ to reimburse them AND beef prices can go up.

This is the city mentality that works really well where lots of people live, but we HAVE to over perform in rural states and areas because of the electoral college and some do the policies we espouse just kill is out here.

Too much political has been wasted on this and other energy policies that are barely rooted in reality. They’re not only bad policies, but terrible politics.

Often times they are regressive (thanks for subsidizing my plug in hybrid!). So let me get this straight. We’re going to tax everyone, so the upper middle class and higher will be able to afford a nicer newer car? All while we make the likes of Elon musk wealthier?

I feel like some of these policies are written by grifters. I say this as someone living in California. I’m afraid we’re going to end up with a billionaire hedge fund governor that will funnel state funds to his buddies in the “green” industry. It’s not like there isn’t enough crony capitalism in DC. There are indeed plenty of legitimate renewable energy companies, but there are a lot of scams too — those trying to grab as much taxpayer money as possible, fleece retail investors, all while making a few at the top very wealthy (conveniently they happen to be well connected politically).

I'm also pissed because of the environmental rules have made cars turn out to be real shitty nowadays. The cars are chock full of plastic parts to meet the very strict environmental regulations. Everyone complains about new cars now as the engines are crap. You hear about engine recalls from most of the big manufacturers.

I believe in rules and the EPA for sure, but some stuff is way overly aggressive and it's nearly impossible for the car manufacturers to meet without building crappy vehicles. That's a problem.

Worth noting that not only did she get 4% less than Biden in 2020, but Texas also had a 5.5% lower voter turnout. Texas's voter turnout is abysmal, but it's a bit less abysmal when it's 2 white men running against each other.

I like both of them. But let's win 2026 and then discuss 2028. Ossoff has to win his GA senate seat first. It won't be easy.
