Question: Just how many Generals has the lush let go?

I saw a Facebook post that says the number stands at 12.

I cannot verify if this is true or not. If it is 12 and it happened in the last 36 hours, we have a five alarm fire in our military.

Anyone who can verify something along these lines would be appreciated. I am frightened.

Pete Hegseth is recklessly firing some of our most dedicated military leaders. @crow.house.gov

These are folks with hundreds of years of combined experience, being pushed out with no notice.

Hegseth’s political purges are endangering our national security.

The George dismissal created a ripple effect. Lots of discontent in the senior ranks. I fear for our military.

7/ -Gen. Randy George: The 41st Army Chief of Staff

-Gen. David Hodne: Commanding General of Army Transformation and Training Command

-Maj. Gen. William Green Jr.: The Army Chief of Chaplains

-Gen. C.Q. Brown Jr.: Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff

Hegseth has intervened in military promotions for more than a dozen senior officers

The defense secretary’s efforts to block or delay promotions to general or admiral for some officers has raised concerns that he may be targeting them because of race, gender or affiliation with the Biden administration, sources say.

WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has taken steps to block or delay promotions for more than a dozen Black and female senior officers across all four branches of the military, some of whom are seen as having been targeted because of their race, gender or perceived affiliation with Biden administration policies or officials, according to nine U.S. officials familiar with the process.
