Do we no longer need an East Wing for the First Ladies?

I expect there will be First Ladies in the future, who deserve to have their own East Wing to work from.

It's sad that Melania has no place to go in Washington. Trump tore it down to spite her, is my opinion. Now, there is a big hole in the ground and Trump is ignoring judicial orders to halt construction of his "ball room". A friggin' ballroom!

I keep waiting for Republicans to come to their senses. But I suppose that is very difficult to do when you have no senses?

really needs extensive office space. They've been getting increasingly more active and their footprint has increased, but the elevation of First Partners is very monarchic and I think we should step away from it.

Do people talk about the husband of the EU president or the wife of PM Starmer?

The ballroom is ridiculous and stupid.

Yeah, we might disagree. Still appreciate ya.

..If we don't permit it to be built, then we won't have to tear it down.

If it doesn't get built, that'll be a devastating psychic blow to Trump. He wants it so, so bad.

If it does get built, it really should be burned down. Controlled burn. Deliberate. It'd be like a ritual cleansing for the nation.

My opinion is we should restore the East wing, but in my ideal world, it'd be devoted to government work and the Offices of the First Lord/Lady be reduced significantly.

She doesn't want to be anywhere near that pig. She's still clinging on to her adult son as a reason to stay behind in NYC. She's happier with this arrangement.

He tore it down to spite America. He thinks if he builds a ballroom, he will be immortalized, like Washington, Lincoln, FDR, etc. We will spend time, energy and money undoing the damage, but I believe we will undo it.

She doesn't want to stay at the white house and doesn't care what happens to that space.

I did not think it is a good idea to place these accommodations in the West Wing as Trump has suggested.

and impeach and convict him. He won't leave and won't let anyone physically remove him.

Or maybe it's where he intends to survive if he provokes enough nations that they join together to go after him.
