Epstein Survivor Reacts to Pam Bondi's Ousting amid Backlash to Government's Handling of Files: 'This Isn't About a
Single Person
Pam Bondi was ousted as the U.S. attorney general this week following months of controversy over the Trump administration's handling of the Epstein files.
However, for at least one survivor of the billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, it's not nearly enough.
Annie Farmer, who has alleged that she was sexually abused by Epstein and his girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, when she was 16 years old, said in a statement shared with PEOPLE, "This is not about a single person; it is about a government and judicial system that has repeatedly failed Epstein survivors."
"Regardless of who holds power, survivors deserve accountability, transparency, protection from retaliation, and assurance that those who enabled Epstein, Maxwell, and others will be investigated and, if appropriate, prosecuted," she added.
