SO...If you ask Trump WHY he's taking the oil in Iran ("my favorite thing"), you're apparently "stupid people."

Trump made several telling remarks Sunday in an interview with the Financial Times, revealing some of his administration’s potential war plans as it relates to Iran.

“To be honest with you, my favorite thing is to take the oil in Iran but some stupid people back in the US say: ‘why are you doing that?’ But they’re stupid people,” Trump told the Financial Times, the outlet reported.

Trump told the outlet that his “preference” in his administration’s war against Iran would be for the United States to “take the oil," invoking a comparison to the U.S. takeover of Venezuela’s oil industry in January when the Trump administration halted Venezuelan oil shipments to the Cuban government, and started oil shipments to Israel “for the first time in years.”

is one of the most moronic things he ever says...

he complained trhat we did not "take the oil" from Iraq too.

He really just doesn't understand scale or logistics.
Take the oil with what ships? take the oil WHERE exactly?

That presumes we control the oil fields and that Iran will sit back and watch us take it.
But even if that was true, take it how and where do you put it?

Never occurred to him that he could come right out and say and do it.

Justice matters.

If he did, that's not a "military excursion" or do we have to wait for the transcript?

1). He is WELL AWARE of the fact that he did an end run around Congress, and he's proud of it, and can't stop passively aggressively bragging about it

2). He does something that he does often...says "They tell me that if it's a war, I have to get approval, so I called it a military option"...which is his way of saying "I don't need anyone's approval for ANYTHING."

3). He only does the "we don't call it a war" thing when he's trolling, and since he trolls 7 days a week, that's why we got the back-and-forth.
