son. I got involved through a neighbor who was active in CALC (Clergy and Laity Concerned about Vietnam). It was personal for me. I feared they would take my little boy and I was terrified.

As a politically-active person while her son was just old enough to talk, she trained him so that when she said, "What do we want?", he'd say, "Justice!"; and she'd say "When do we want it?", and he'd say "Now!" She'd show this little routine off to friends and get a laugh, until one day with friends when she said "What do we want?" and he answered, "LUNCH!"
