In my corner of southeastern Virginia ( tidewater area) all I see are signs urging people to vote no.
Today I got this in the mail.

It is from a republican pac. They are using Barack Obama to make it look like its the right thing to do for democrats.
It is not the first time they do that.

I suspect it will work. As usual, our party is useless in pushing back. I have yet to see a mailer or a sign advocating for it.
All I saw is reports that the effort gathered record amounts of money.
I guess its going to expensive political consultants instead of being spend to fight the dishonest information pushed by the GOP.

(2,294 posts)According to the latest poll democrats are out voting them even in the rural areas. Dems are not stupid and most people are sick of his nonsense including republicans.

(2,050 posts)Early voting by Dems is up over the recent election rates. My real fear is many Dems will think this improper and will not vote. I think the Dems who vote will select yes.
Its going to be close thats for sure

(2,496 posts)The No voters have been very vocal, the Yes voters much less so. And the No voters tend to deliberately or unwittingly misrepresent the issue. As always, NOVA and the other pockets of blue will generally vote Yes, the remainder of Virginia (heavily red) will vote No. Its going to be close.
