...and everything else in America survives on what's left. That's the legacy of the Cold War that Eisenhower warned the country about. The Pentagon never stood down after WWII ended, and we've maintained and equipped massive forces ever since, including garrisons around the world. Maybe that made some sense during the 1950s-- maybe-- but today it's been draining our economy for three generations. Eisenhower was right. We MUST rein in military spending, like to the tune of 75% cuts, and Congress must reassert its authority over Executive war making. Let Trump turn the Penta-gone into the grandest ballroom ever!
