1049 days to go

AI tells me that Trump has served 28% of his second term so far. That leaves 72% (1049 days) to go before he's out.

While I think he's already hit bottom on corruption, depravity and dementia, I'm continually being reminded that he has no bottom. And the filters are coming off. He recently wondered out-loud if he could monetize his endorsements.

But I don't think there's any way even the GOP can tolerate him in office until the end of his term. The costs of his delusions so horrific that even the MAGAs are waking up. If the GOP continues to be his enablers they will be forced to cancel elections or be drummed out of every elected office.

The only news I want to hear is what every member of Congress ... every member of the GOP and every Dem ... is doing to block his insanity and work towards the goal of neutering him and removing him from power. And if they are not 100% focused on removing him, ask what red-line is required for him to cross before they grow a spine and fight?

At this point, I give it 50/50 that Trump would happily start WWIII (yes, with nukes) on a whim that it might make him look good. Seriously, would any of us be really surprised if we woke up tomorrow to the news that he had nuked Tehran or Havana?
