A DHS official told the outlet that he received a call from the White House last March, just weeks into Noems tenure. The administration official called to ask whether the DHS staffer had heard that Lewandowski was using his influence within the agency to grant lucrative government contracts to political alliesand whether there was any evidence to back such claims.

Mr. Lewandowski does NOT play a role in approving contracts, A DHS spokesperson said in a statement to the outlet. Mr. Lewandowski does not receive a salary or any federal government benefits. He volunteers his time to serve the American people.

Lewandowski wasnt just in charge of Noems schedulehe was present at most of her meetings too, according to the report.
I dont think she ever took meetings without him standing in there, a senior administration official told the Review. I was supposed to have a one-on-one meeting with her, and he was in there. He took meetings without her, but she never took meetings without him.

(53,123 posts)you know they're making money behind the scenes. Reminds me of when Trump "donated" his salary like he was some selfless public servant. Or when Manafort worked as Trump's campaign manager for free in 2016. Republicans don't do anything for free.

(3,713 posts). . . a Stephen Miller spy.
Dictatorial regimes have a LOT of spies placed inside agencies whose job is to monitor the agency's leadership and report back to The Big Man.
